The Can O'Worms is a collectible game item in Earthworm Jim and Earthworm Jim 2. It serves as a "continue," preventing a "game over" when all of Jim's lives have been lost.
In the original game, Cans O'Worms can be found in levels, although very rarely, and often only in hard-to-reach areas, or secret levels. Cans O'Worms can perhaps be most easily obtained through collecting 50 Pocket Rocket Fuel Pods in the Andy Asteroids? chase levels.
In Earthworm Jim 2, Cans O'Worms became more common, making it an easier game to complete.
In Earthworm Jim HD, Jim appears from Cans O'Worms at continue points when he dies. Also, the first three icons in the first three levels are used to unlock the three new secret levels of Earthworm Jim HD, as part of the The Cheap Chap Chopping Chips Program.
